"When in Rome, do as the Romans do." "All Roads Lead to Rome." "Rome wasn't built in a day." Why do we still refer to an empire that disappeared centuries ago? Explore the political, military and economic history of one of the world's great civilizations. Illustrated lecture/discussions will be expanded through guided tours of the newly renovated Roman and Byzantine galleries.
