Under the direction of Liz Upchurch, Head of the COC Ensemble Studio, young artists present a program of gems from the German lied repertoire, including works by Alexander Zemlinsky and his great supporter, Johannes Brahms. This concert is the perfect primer for Zemlinsky’s A Florentine Tragedy, performed by the COC this spring as part of a double bill with Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi.
This concert is part of the COC’s Free Concert Series in the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre.
