Hailed by the Toronto Star as “Canada’s chamber music treasure,” the sizzling Ensemble Vivant is joined by bassist Dave Young for a concert featuring tunes from their recent hit CD, Homage to Astor Piazzolla. Audiences are also treated to the Toronto premiere of Fuga con Pajarillo by Aldemaro Romero, the influential Venezuelan composer who died in 2007.
This concert is part of the Canadian Opera Company’s Free Concert Series in the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre.
