The Black Film and Video Network (BFVN) is a non-profit organization established in 1988, that advocates for the advancement of professionals in screen-based and new media arts. The mandate of the organization is to support and promote the development of individual skills, and encourage production by Black film and video makers. The organizations produces a Members Directory, workshops, the Reel Black Awards and screening programs.
